Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) was halted mid-way on May 09 due to escalating tensions between India & Pakistan. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued an official statement on the ongoing IPL 2025 suspended for one week. The board is firmly behind India's armed forces as it is fighting off high-alert operations against Pakistan.
BCCI sprung into swift action, when PBKS vs DC game was suspended due to air raid alerts in the nearby regions in Pathankot - 90 Kms away from the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala were the game was being played. However, the IPL 2025 mid way suspension has affected BCCI the most as it is set to suffer huge losses.
