Pakistan Lose Babar, Imam Early

Babar and Imam added 41 runs for the first wicket. Both the batters looked good till they batted on a good batting wicket. Just when Pakistan seemed to control the bat, Hardik got Babar (23) caught to the keeper. He bowled the ball a touch fuller than his previous deliveries. Babar tried to hit a straight drive failed to connect and edged it to the keeper Rahul. The former Pakistan skipper was looking good before his dismissal as he hit five fours in his 23.

In the very next over, Imam-Ul-Haq ran a suicidal single and was short of the ground. Axar Patel fielding at long-on hit the wickets on the full while Iman was short of the crease. Suddenly while Pakistan was controlling the game on the first 10 overs, the wickets just before the end of the powerplay has shifted the control back to India.

Pakistan skipper Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel are now trying to stitch a partnership and take the team score past the 100. Ian Bishop and Sunil Gavaskar at the pitch report said that a score of around 250-270 will be competitive on this wicket.

Rohit Sharma at the toss said that India are playing the same side that played against Bangladesh. Pakistan on the other hand, brought in Imam-Ul-Haq into the XI in place of Fakhar Zaman. However, the change did not pay off as Babar was out of just 10.
